“OK stupid question seeing that these are Wi-Fi can I connect to them If I am not home?”

Thank you for your questions.If the light is connected with wifi, you can control it when you are away from home through Govee Home app.

I would think that you can as they usually operate on a dual system of Bluetooth if you are nearby and WiFi if you aren’t.
