“I installed the 100 ft light but at the last stage of the installation where the end of the light is connected to the power cord, what I see is both the ends are male connectors and there is no way I can connect these two ends. Please suggest a solution”

Sounds like you installed it backwards. I started with the power cord and went from there to make sure I didn’t do that exact thing.
