Customer Ratings & Reviews

We absolutely love our Govee lights and use them for every occasion and holiday throughout the year. They’ve been incredibly durable, reliable, and easy to use, even with daily use outdoors. We’ve had absolutely no issues with them, which says a lot considering how often they’re on. We’ve already purchased additional add-ons and extensions for all of our outdoor lighting setups, and we fully plan on adding even more as we continue building out and upgrading our backyard space. The quality, brightness, and customization options make them completely worth it for us.

Installation was straightforward, and they've held up well outdoors. Overall, I'm very happy with these lights and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for permanent outdoor lighting that's versatile, fun, and easy to use.

The app is very user-friendly and allows easy control of brightness, colors, schedules, and scenes. I especially love the smart features—being able to control the lights from my phone (or via voice assistant) is super convenient. Overall, Govee outdoor lights offer excellent value for the price. I really like my Govee WiFi RGBIC outdoor permanent string lights! They were easy to install, connect smoothly to the app, and the color options are amazing. The lights are bright, vibrant, and make my yard look great at night. I also love being able to control them with my phone or voice assistant. Definitely worth it!

Easy to install. So many color options makes these lights great for year round. They light up the entire side of the house. Will be buying another 100ft. 5 starts great lights.

Works well. I had to run a stringer board due to un-even rafters on my roof overhang which was a little more work but it made it so the lights are all positioned evenly and gives the effect you see in the advertisements. They are nice and bright and easy to use on the default modes for holidays. I'm still learning the more detailed aspects of how to program each light for example. If you are tired of spending time "hanging" lights outside your house every year, these are a good investment in that if you mount them correctly, you can leave them forever and nobody will notice unless they are turned on.

I recently purchased the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights from Best Buy and let me tell you, my outdoor space has never looked better! These lights have truly exceeded my expectations, thanks to their stunning brightness, reliability, and ease of use. Whether I'm hosting a cozy outdoor gathering or simply enjoying a peaceful evening outdoors, these lights create the perfect ambiance that never fails to impress my guests. One of the most impressive aspects of the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights is their durability. Designed to withstand the elements, these lights have proven to be incredibly resilient, even in harsh weather conditions. Rain or shine, I can rest assured knowing that my outdoor lighting will remain intact and continue to emit a radiant glow throughout the night. Installation and operation of these lights are incredibly easy, making the entire setup process a breeze. The thoughtfully designed clips and hooks ensure a secure and hassle-free installation, allowing you to spend less time setting up and more time enjoying the delightful atmosphere created by these lights. Moreover, the remote control that comes with the lights enables effortless customization, allowing me to choose from a variety of vibrant colors and dynamic lighting effects to suit any occasion. Another feature that impressed me is the energy efficiency of the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights. Despite their incredible brightness, they consume minimal power, allowing me to leave them on for extended periods without worrying about my electricity bill. This energy-saving aspect, combined with their durable construction, makes these lights a cost-effective and long-term investment. Overall, I cannot recommend the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights enough. Their vibrant illumination, durability, ease of use, and energy efficiency have truly transformed my outdoor space into a stunning visual treat. If you're looking to elevate the atmosphere of your patio, yard, or garden, these lights are an absolute must-have. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Govee lights are awesome, make sure to install the clips, while cumbersome it ensure it won’t fall off. I had multiple spots I tried not using clips due to height of my house and the tape fell within days. The Govee app makes it seem less and it integrates with existing Google home applications. The customization of the lights is really quite good and the brightness adjustment is also awesome.

The Govee app is the best by far. I wasted money on cheaper lights, which I tossed. They were worthless. The Govee lights are much more stury, brighter, and user-friendly. This was my BEST purchase in years. The Govee app syncs quicky and works flawlessly. I cannot say enough about how great this is....you need these lights. The app also allows you to set timers which is not just useful but saves money...again,BUY these lights.

It was an easy installation even thought it took a some time since we have a big house, but it worth it all the way! Our house looks so good I love the now I don’t have to worry about Halloween or Christmas because you can have all that in just one app and don’t forget about birthday themes, thanks giving and all the celebrations during the year, if you’re thinking about it don’t hesitate go and get them you’ll regret it! Oh i forgot you don’t have to take them off everytime when the season is over, why? Because the stay in place forever even when you have bad weather you don’t have to worry about falling down believe I know, so don’t wait and make your wife happier I bet she would love it just like I do!

Govee outdoor lights have received many positive reviews for their versatility and performance. I love the wide range of colors and lighting modes, allowing customization for different occasions. It’s easy to control the light remotely or voice assistant like Alexa. Govee lights are weather-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor use in various conditions. It was easy to install and I like the fact it has the adhesive backing and included mounting options. Overall Govee lights is a great choice for enhancing outdoor spaces, whether for parties, gatherings, or simply creating a cozy atmosphere.

Great lights for the house. Save me from having to take lights up and down every year. The multiple settings in the app is great. I've had a lot of compliments on them in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend and well worth the price.

Love the lights. Easy to install and plenty of options to change the lights. Pick up extra clips online to fasten them to the roof as the tape is temporary and they do not give you enough clips

The lights themselves are fantastic. The colors are vibrant. You can adjust the brightness. The availability of patterns and colors with the addition of customer made submissions is astounding. My one issue with these lights is the extensions they come with. We were given two 4" and one 12" and actually needed the opposite (two 12" and one 4"). I ended up having to buy another 12" from someone on eBay because the manufacturer does not sell them separately, which may have made me consider returning the lights had a not gotten them at a reduced price. Otherwise I have no complaints. The app works great and the lights were easy (albeit time consuming) to install. Hopefully they last for many years!

Easy to install and looks great! It wouldbe better to buy a white one.

Easy to install and able to pick any color pattern! Permanently makes house look nice

Bought the lights and they look beautiful. Had to pay someone to install, but so far it's worth it.

I’m obsessed with these lights! They are amazing. The app is super user friendly and there are so many different combinations you can use for the lights. The color is vibrant and the set up is very easy. Keep in mind each adaptor can only use 9 segments of lights on each outlet. We had to use 2 separate adaptors/plugs. This is not an issue due to the app allowing you to merge the 2 separate units. I would definitely screw them in as opposed to just the 3M.

Easy install and looks great on a metal roof install, used some clear Alien tape for extra adhesion!

No regrets! Super easy to install and we definitely stand out from other houses around us!
