If you pull the trigger only part of the way, do you get less pressure? So can the trigger be pulled half way if you only want about 1000 PSI and then when you pull the trigger all the way you get 1900 PSI? Or is it all or nothing? null

No, the trigger is ON or OFF.

If you want less direct pressure, use a wider fan tip, or get an adjustable tip.
