Hi Sandy. Thank you for your question. The unit has the following clearing paths, clearing width: 12 in. (30 cm), clearing depth: 4 in. (10.2 cm). This is a great unit for handling snow, just ensure to not use the snow shovel on a gravel or crushed rock surface. Use extreme caution when crossing gravel/crushed rock drives, walks, or roads.
