I can't remember if I said this, when activated you can log on with the app and see and hear what's going on, and I think you can talk through it but not sure on that part.

depending on how you set it up, it can monitor and record any movement (first few seconds) when someone moves in front of it. You can set a silent alarm and have it text you and you will know when anyone enters the field of view, then log in on the app and monitor what's going on. The text is immediate when the motion alert is triggered. The audible alarm is optional (mine is off) so no one will notice other than the little pyramid with the green and red lights on it. It also sees well in the dark in IR

Yes. I was in two nursing homes. The door is always open. Anyone, can pretend to be visiting someone. You would be helping the staff, other patients and yourself, with guardzilla. Remenber, keep the audio on.
