• A standard 1/2" garden hose will work great. A wash machine hose will work also if you only need to go a short distance. It has a standard hose connection on the back. Just remember to take out the rubber plug before you hook the hose up....

• I am not using the drain yet. According to the product write-up regular gardenhose is specified, I guess that is the 3/4 inch hose.
