One of the best games I ever played was Bioshock. It’s probably close to 16 years old now. Find it for cheap and play it. The game and story are amazing. When you like it, get Bioshock 2. It requires some first person shooting, but allows you to create different ‘weapons.’ The difficulty is fine for a beginner.
