what is "BPA" how does it affect food?? null

It's a chemical that's been around since the 1950s in certain plastics. There has been some research that says BPAs can leech into food and liquids stored in plastic containers that contain BPAs and they can cause certain health issues. I always opt for BPA free containers for food storage just to be sure.
