  • Questionwhat is "BPA" how does it affect food??

    • Answer It's a chemical that's been around since the 1950s in certain plastics. There has been some research that says BPAs can leech into food and liquids stored in plastic containers that contain BPAs and they can cause certain health issues. I always opt for BPA free containers for food storage just to be sure.

    • Answer I can't relocate the specific quote now, but when I was researching this item I did see that there was no BPA in the "food zones" of the product. I took this to mean that some of the outer portions may contain BPA but no part of the product in contact with any food items has BPA.
