• The interior pot (lining) is made of aluminum and is completely removable.

• Yes, the inner container where you put rice and water in does come out. I've even washed it on top rack of my dishwasher.

• All of our rice cookers and steamers have pots inside that the food is placed into. All of these pots are removable for cleaning.
