I wish I knew the answer to that question. You might try calling the Hisense's customer service line, and ask them if you can somehow buy the TV from another store in your area, or online.I purchased mine less then a month ago, and the picture seems to actually be improving, if that's possible. In the beginning some of the pixels showed up a different color for a few seconds at start up, but that corrected itself. The only downside to this TV is that when you're about five feet away from it the color starts to fade when you're looking at it from the sides. That's only an issue if your planning on installing it in a larger room where the seating is farther then 5 feet away from the TV's outer edges. The picture is amazing when looking at it from the front. I did purchase the 5 year warranty. After my three year old 50" Samsung HDTV went out on me, I decided it would be a good idea. The Samsung's picture intermittently went dark on me from the beginning, but being that I lived in an older building, and it didn't happen that often, I thought it was a cable issue. If that happens to you call the store immediately!
