“I am hard of hearing , my wife is not. will this TV allow for pairing of headphones and tv speaker volume simultaneously So we can both watch/listen without blaring volume.”

Great question! I just connected my cell phone earphones to the Hisense, and it works! BUT, be aware I have a sound bar connected to my TV through the optical connection. I plugged the earphones into the 3.5mm connection and I can hear through the earphones and the soundbar, simultaneously.
