“Does this TV output HDR thru hdmi or only thru USB like the 50 inch model. Pretty much useless thru usb. We were told Hisense is supposed to fix this HDR issue with an update in the future. I would only buy this tv if Hisense can verify this imfo. Plz.”

This TV does support HDR through the HDMI ports. You have to download the update for the TV. I had to download 2 different updates. Afterwards, you have to go into the Menu and enable the HDR function. Under the HDMI option in the menu, you have to select Enhanced to enable HDR.

Please try again later.There is a difference between H8C and H7C, The 8c series from everything I read has both thru usb and hdmi. you have to go under hdmi and switch it to enhanced, The 7c series has it thru usb and the update is for that model Only the 3 and 4 port on the back support this on both models They also have those ports 2.0 at hdcp2.2 compliant thru update for 2015 models but should be installed on 2016. The 8c and 7c series 2016 models are the most up to date
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I actually talked to a rep from Hisense. HDR 10 plays thru both USB and HDMI ports 3 & 4. He said something about an update this month to make it work right.
