Some programs with 300 nits are fine. The qled TVs are better. It is frustrating how hisense can't charge a bit more and provide brighter screens. 300 nits is terrible in modern TVs. My 8 year old Samsung is better than cheaper 4k TVs around just now.

If you need something higher than 600 Nits, we suggest that you check out the ULED series: 75H8G (700 Nits) , 65H9G (1000 Nits). If you have any further questions or concerns please give us a call at 1-888-935-8880 or email us at [email protected]. Thanks Again, Harley with the Hisense Support Team
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The reason they do make 4k hdr tvs with only 300 nits is because when the design TV's with higher nits more technology is used as well as more expensive panels. So to cover the high end market Hisense uses their premium TV's like currently the Hisense U8G and U7G which both offer 700 -1000nits HDMI 2.1 as well as 120hz native panels and vrr and are quantum dot. The mid grade tv currently is the U6G which has a quantum dot display but lacks some higher end features like 120hz HDMI 2.1 and vrr and just ticks the 650 nits Max brightness. On the budget end you have the a6g which is designed for people that want a 4k experience and some hdr effects and want a decent tv at an affordable price. The a6g has Dolby vision and hdr10 support and runs at a standard 60hz with 120 motion enhancement. It is acceptable for most people just looking to upgrade from a 1080p panel or just looking for a larger tv that wont break the bank. The A6G is alot better than many other TV's like Philips RCA TCL and other entry level 4k manufacturers. It preforms very well for it's price point. That is the best answer I can give.
