• It defaults to Pandora. I do not pay for Pandora, so you just have to listen to ads every few songs. You can also direct it to use your Google music playlists.

• When you set it up, you specify which music service is your default. We use Pandora. It has only chosen Pandora so far but it did pick out a Happy Birthday on its own. You do need a strong wifi signal. The set up is done with an free app you down load

• You can set up your default account to play a song on Pandora, Google Music, YouTube, or Spotify. If you have music you own in Google Music, it can retrieve that as well.
