Depends what you're using it for. If you want to use it for home automation, stay with echo as it's been in the market longer and work with more IOTs. Google Home has vast collection of music, where as echo try to get you to sign up for Amazon's premium music service. Sometimes you ask for certain song and it will only play a sample of the tune or cannot locate the song at all. Also Home probably has more answers to the questions you ask versus echo. I feel besides home automation and ordering stuff from Amazon, I don't find echo all that useful compared to Home.

Please try again later.Have tried both of these unit types and have found that the Google Home sounds so much fuller and richer and that it was easier to set up and perform functions. The Google Home responds so much easier and can actually learn your repeated and consecutive actions.
