• The Google Home only works when plugged into a wall outlet. However, I use mine in the backyard every day it has plenty of power to hear across my medium sized yard.

• The Home and the mini assistants are both AC Power only. Battery would be awesome, but because you always have to be connected to the internet to use it anyway, its not a big deal to me.
