I don't yet know energy usage. It is my understanding that the plug will only have to be removed if on dehumidify mode only. After using the air conditioner mode, I run just the fan for about an hour to evaporate any moisture.

Hi, the power consumed by this unit is 1.05kW/hr. Energy should be power consumption times operating hrs per day times operating days per year.
