I was not happy with the Honeywell did not cool at all

Please try again later.Yes and No. It would plug in and pump out tons of cold air as any AC unit would but without a window to vent it's hot exhaust out of It would be pouring as much hot air into the room as cold air. It doesn't technically need to be a window but you need somewhere to vent the hot exhaust.

You need it to install it to a window or a sliding glass door for it to be vented out through an exhaust hose. You could consider venting this unit through a sliding glass door kit in case you do not have windows. The sliding glass door kits are available for sale separately and not included with the unit.
