Air outlet is always open. It's just a big hose with open adapters at each end. Fan speed stays at set speed when compressor is on or off (cooling or not.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Bear! The air vent is open all the time, it is strongly recommended to use the exhaust hose when running the A.C to push the hot air outside. When the unit is running in fan or dehumidification mode the exhaust hose is not used. There is not an oscillation features with this air conditioner. The fan speed will remain constant when the unit is running unless you manually adjust. I hope this answers your questions. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The air outlet is manually controlled. You physically open the outlet and it will stay open in any position you set it to. The air outlet does not oscillate. There is side to side louver adjustment but as the opening of the louver it too is manually adjusted. I havent had an opportunity to see what happens when the unit gets to the desired temp but I will assume the fan runs constant speed and the cooling feature turns on and off.
