A:AnswerI have mine hooked to a 20 amp dedicated breaker. I also have to use an extension cord that has the same rating. Barely gets warm. I have used other brands of heaters with this setup and so far no overheating issues. We never leave this unit running when we leave the house. I don't trust units like this because they are made with the cheapest materials possible.
A:AnswerWe use it in the basement where the previous owner built a 13 Ft by 34 Ft den. With the ducts from our home heating system, we manage to keep the temperature in a comfortable range when using the Honeywell. Not an ideal situation as this unit is expensive to run.
