“I have a very old home that has no forced air. I have radiant heat using an old Honeywell thermostat that is battery powered. I have two wires that are connected to the power plant in the basement for heat only. Will this unit work with this setup?”

No. You just have 3-wires and a transformer putting out 24 volts.

To be sure that thermostat will be compatible, you require that C wire. Since your system could by line voltage, this thermostat is compatible with 24Vac systems.
