“How do I set the thermostat to hold at a certain temperature for a week or more while I am out of town? I have misplaced my instruction booklet. I have the 7-day programmable thermostat which is quite new (also new furnace and A/C).”

• Hello 4645! Good news1 The Honeywell 7-Day Programmable Thermostat does offer the ability to set a temporary temperature hold. To place this hold, please follow these steps: 1. Press "HOLD" on the thermostat. 2. Press the UP and DOWN ARROWS to adjust the temperature to what you wish the thermostat to hold. The temperature will be help until you manually make a change by pressing the UP or DOWN ARROWS or until you press "CANCEL" on the thermostat. I hope this helps. Thank you.

• The app gives an option for temporary or permanent holds. Just open it, change the temp, and hit the permanent hold button in the graphic app.
