Re check your wiring and also see if you have A single or duel phase heat pump. Duel phase has an emergency heating setting. Then you have to check the settings on the thermostat by holding the fan and up button and go through each setting. You can also give Honeywell a call. They are really good with step by step instructions on how to wire and set the settings.
