• Yes. 5Ghz routers also support 2.4Ghz. Almost all Internet of Things(IoT) devices like WiFi thermostats, doorbells, security cameras, refrigerators use 2.4Ghz because it has a greater distance range than 5Ghz and IoT devices do not need the speed of 5Ghz.
