- Answer Yes, it will still work. Wifi hookup is an option. You will not get some of the features this unit has to offer. If you are not using the Wifi you should save some money and get a different thermostat, one without Wifi.

QuestionI have the Honeywell wi-fi smart color thermostat RTH9585WF and I have my temperature now set at 70 degrees. I have it programed at the temperature every day. I went to adjust the heat to 72 degrees and the up arrow does nothing. The down arrow works.

- Answer My son installed this. He is 20. He has knowledge on installing thermostats. You will need 5 wires one being a "c" wire. I am sure if you watch youtube videos you could figure it out. I am not savvy about these kinds of things. You will love the thermostat.
