A:AnswerYes, You can set up a schedule for every day during the week. They have the option to set the temperature when you wake up, when you leave, when you come home, and when you go to bed. I believe you can also add more on top of that.
A:AnswerYes, you can cover the ends of the outdoor temperature sensor and leave them unconnected if you install the WiFi Smart Color Thermostat, which displays an outdoor temperature based on weather data from the internet. I don't think you'll find the WiFi Smart Color Thermostat to be much of an upgrade from the TH8320U unless you really want the ability to control your thermostat from a smart phone.
A:AnswerProbably not. It is looking for 24V AC. You could ask at the Honeywell website, they should be able to give you a definite answer. But if you are wanting to use the Alexa or Google to control it, you will need to have a WIFI network available. So you will have to figure that part out. If you don't plan to use Alexa or Google, then you could find a much cheaper solution then this thermostat. Good Luck.
A:AnswerChances are the other 2 thermostats also have unused C wire in the wall. If you have a unused C wire in the wall, ensure they are connected to C wire in the main zone controller by the side of the HVAC.
In the attached picture of my Zone Controller, only one of the C wire was connected. For other 2 Zones, the blue C-wire was unused and wrapped around the wires. I connected the unused C-wire to the C-port in the box (which provide 24V) and was able to use the Thermostat. Similarly at the thermostat end, the C wire may be wrapped around wires (easy to miss) or is inside the wall and need to be pulled out.
