Does the app work with an android cell phone? null

Yes! And it works very well. Once in awhile, you'll open it and it will say no internet, but I just push the back button on my phone, enter the app again, and all good after that. Only twice I've had to push back button once again, and then all good. So, the one I bought came with one room sensor, I then ordered six more room sensors, for a total of seven different rooms. They all work great together, to obtain the perfect temperature for the whole house. And I control all that from my phone, if I'm home or not home. Love this thermostat!

Yes. I do not own apple devices and use this with my android frequently.
