“Can anyone tell me how well the stair cleaner attachment cleans the stairs? That is my main reason for purchasing this machine. The machines I bought which were advertised as " Hand Held Carpet Machines" did not work very well.”

I haved used the "stair" attachment for spot cleaning, and it works just as well as the machine, just in a smaller area. I was happy with the hose length as well, but it may not extend all the way up the stairs, so the machine may need to be moved up/down the stairs behind you once you get past the halfway point.

I have a carpeted bathroom and I used it around the toilet area since the main unit is too large to get in the area. It worked great. It says not to go back and forth more than 4 times or you might overstaurate the area.

You spray as much solution as you need onto the surface by squeezing a trigger and scrub it in, then vacuum it up. It did a nice job.
