“I just purchased this vacuum and it is extremely loud. Other buyers report it not be very loud at all. I'm wondering if mines defective?”

I have had mine for about 3 weeks and it's not any louder than my previous one. Does it sound like a loud motor or loud air sounds? If it's the motor then I suggest exchanging it, but if it's air sounds check on the side where the dirt cannister connects to the base and make sure it's sealed. Hope this helps.
