How can I clean it out if it gets a clog somewhere inside that isnt visible? When I turn it on, it automatically goes to full red. null

Hi Courtney! There's most likely a clog in the hose. You will have to remove both ends of the hose off of the cleaner. To do so, push the gray clip located on the hose holster to remove one end. The other end of the hose is connected to a gray tube that goes up into a curb sealing the dirt cup. 
Twist the solid portion of the hose that is  connected to this tube counter clockwise in order to unlock. Once unlocked, pull the hose down to release. 
Take a broom stick handle and run it through the hose to knock out clog. Hope this helps!

Maybe check to see if the filters need cleaning as it may affect the suction power.

The whole unit disassembles down to fairly easy to work with segments. The manual shows how to take it apart down to a level that should allow you to access any clog.
The full red light I believe could indicate that the top filter may be too dirty. It is on top of the canister you take off to dump the contents.It can be removed and washed. Instructions for that are also in the manual. If you do not have a manual you can download it from Hoover.com to get all the service info you need.
