We have had 3 flats using this product. Twice it went flat in under two weeks, and the last time it lasted about 2 months. It is not easy fixing the flat. It can be done but with a lot of work. We got the insurance that best buy offers and it costs us $100 to exchange each time. Knowing what I know now of this product and how often it gets flats, I would NOT recommend this product to others. It is a blast to use but it gets a flat way too often to justify the price or fun it does offer.

Please try again later.I would suggest if you plan to ride Hover 1 products or any similar scooter on concrete especially in urban settings you rid yourself of the notion of flats like I did. You can replace the 10 inch tires of this Alpha with Solid rubber tires the same as you can on the with the 8.5 Tires on the Hover 1 Pioneer. Their product seems fine, it's just the tires are pretty trash. When you replace the tires with solid tires that cannot pop or be flat you never have to worry about flats as long as you have this scooter. I have had 2 big E-scooters and 1 Small one. My issue was I got the Hover 1 Pioneer and not the Alpha, so I exceeded the weight limit on it and one day going about 10 Miles per our the scooter base separated from the frame at the lower part of the handlebar base. Had I got the Alpha which can carry 264 Lbs I would have been fine as I replaced the tires on the Pioneer with 2 solid tires for $40. It's not easy to swap the tires the first time but you get the hang of it and there are vids showing you how. So stay within the weight limit, swap the tires and you're good. Also wear a helmet. Be safe.
