“Hover 1 alpha- Just got it, worked fine for several days. Recently stalls/loses power intermittently when throttle is engaged. Also is it normal for brake light to be flashing? I think that is when it is in night mode.”

The previous answer is incorrect. Actually the rear red light is supposed to be solid, it is only supposed to flash when the break is engaged, If your rear light is flashing and you are not using your breaks than you need to loosen the tension on the break cable just until the flashing stops, if you loosen it too much the breaks won't engage when you use them.
