I had the same problem with mine. Turn the volume down. Does it work now? I took the whole thing apart and took the speaker out and there was a wire pinched I didn't even splice and fix it I just got the wire in the spot it was suppose to be in when I put the plastic cover back on and now it's fine. Pretty loud too they have it engineered very well
