- Answer Hello. Thanks for your question. If you have Microsoft Office 365, you can add it to this Chromebook. You cannot use the Microsoft Home and Student 2019 or Home and Business 2019 editions for this Chromebook.

QuestionIn a previous answer the "HP Team" said this device would receive updates until June of 2026, but the device itself says it will receive updates only until Jun 2024. Can anyone explain the discrepancy or should I just return it based on 2024 date? Thanks

- Answer Chromebooks are supported for 5 years from the year they come out and this one came out in 2019 so 2024 is correct.

- Answer Because hardshell cases have to fit the case exactly and different computers will have slightly different shapes, there is currently no hardshell cases that I'm aware of.

- Answer Chrome OS does not support video playback from an external USB disk drive. If you really need to use a USB disk drive you will need to look at a Windows laptop.

But the desktop and enterprise versions like QuickBooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise Solutions need to be used with the native Windows operating system. There are some accounting software packages available for Chromebooks.
