• Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP Chromebook has the Chrome operating system. You can download apps from the Google Play Store on this Chromebook.

• It runs Chrome. Basically that is a thin version of Linux. Android is also based on Linux. Personally, I would up the ssd size and run Linux Mint on it, which will do anything Android does. I hate Windows too.
