- Answer Thank you for the question. This model has eMMC storage soldered to the board; it's not upgradeable. However, you could connect an external storage drive via USB. There are models with M.2 SSD drives, and Geek Squad could upgrade to a higher-capacity SSD drive for you. Please reach out to your local Best Buy for alternatives and pricing.

QuestionHas anyone had any problems with the hinges on this particular laptop breaking? I've only had this laptop since last November, and I think the hinge on the right side is already starting to break. Can opening and closing it too much break the hinges?
