Not sure about Blockbench, however Minecraft does in fact run at a playable frame rate. Keep in mind this is still a bad deal, and if you are considering this laptop, wait for prices to go down. At the beginning of the school year, Best Buy had it on sale for $150. Gives you an idea of the budget on what you're getting.
