Hey Kay, it's a good budget choice. Small enough to easily carry, and big enough to see what your doing. You might want to include the microsoft 365 package which will undoubtedly be necessary for papers and projects. Another thing to maybe consider is adding another 4gigs of Ram. Hope this helps.
