Thank you for the question about the HP 14-fq0033dx. All of the newest models use slotted RAM so they can be upgraded, but they require battery removal so user access is officially unsupported - RAM slots are accessible/upgradeable by IT or self-maintainers only. Please reach out to the Geek Squad or HP Support for upgrade options. Note that this uses DIMM DDR4 RAM. NVMe and SATA refer to storage interface types for the SSD, and this model has SATA 3. There is not an extra slot, but you can change the existing SSD for one of higher capacity. Again, Geek Squad can assist you with that.
