No. This laptop doesn't really have a lot of memory. It doesn't process very fast.

This model does not meet the requirements for doing any type of app building: You would need a model that has at least an i5 or equivalent processor along with at 8GB of memory at a minimum, with 16GB recommended. Those are offered in the Pavilion and Envy lines and those are also sold through Best Buy.
