This HP Laptop utilizes Windows 11 Home in S Mode, which is a version of Windows 11 designed for security and performance. It only allows apps from the Microsoft Store and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing, keeping the device secure. While users can turn off S mode at any time, it can't be turned back on. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode.
