This computer comes with free Microsoft subscription. I bought one separately as advised by the BestBuy manager and had to return it when I realized it came with already installed.

You shouldn't need to pay again if you have valid licenses for the programs already. If they're currently installed on another computer, you'll need to "deactivate" them on that computer before you can use them on this computer.
