This Chromebook is made for basic tasks like surfing the web, email and streaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Obviously, you can't run software made for Windows computers but if your primary needs can be met through a browser, then yes. The Chromebook handles all email, browsing, free office apps such as word processing and spreadsheets through Google. This HP model is fast. the screen is excellent and large. and I really love the tactile response of the keyboard. A retired computer professional, I was hesitant to go with a Chromebook at first too but I haven't missed anything about Windows.
