• Thank you for the question. This laptop is presented with Windows 11 Home in S Mode, which supports apps available in the Microsoft Store. But you can take the system out of S Mode simply, for free (not reversible) if you'd prefer more flexibility with choice of browser and download origins.

• It can, but you will have to come out of Windows ‘S’ mode. Note that this is a permanent change.
