“I just bought this computer for a friend in another state. He said it already has MS Word, Excel, PowerPoinrt, etc., on it, without installing the 15-month subscription for Microsoft 365 I purchased. How is this possible?”

• It comes with a one-month trial of MS 365 installed, so that's probably what your friend is currently using. At the end of that trial, he can use the subscription you bought to continue using it.
