Hello, you can reset your PC by starting the laptop and repeatedly pressing the F11 key. When "Choose an option" appears go down to the Troubleshoot option and click it, then click Reset this PC. You can choose "Local reinstall" to reinstall Windows from your device, then choose "keep my files" and click Reset. When the computer restarts you will set it up again with the password of your choosing and when you are back into the device the files will be there. Thank you for being an HP customer!
