That is an excellent question. At the moment, I can't provide any clarity, because even the official HP sources don't agree. The one you linked to says that it has an optical drive, while the HP source we used for research says it doesn't and without having a physical unit to examine, it's impossible to determine which one is wrong. I've reported the discrepancy, and hopefully we'll get a quick resolution.
