Hi Steve, thank you for the question. For laptops, the speaker is built-in and may need to be enabled. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select "Sounds" or "Sound settings.". Go to the Playback tab and check if your audio device is listed. If it's disabled, right-click it and select "Enable.". You can also try the audio troubleshooter in Windows: Press Windows + I to open Settings. Go to System > Sound > Troubleshoot under Output. Follow the on-screen instructions. It might be that the drivers need updating, Press Windows + X and select Device Manager. Expand Sound, video, and game controllers. Right-click your audio device (e.g., "Realtek Audio") and select "Update driver." If you continue to receive the "no audio" alert, please reach out to HP Support to assist.
